Since 1996 Alison has taken yoga classes with a variety of teachers practicing a variety of styles. Recognizing the therapeutic qualities inherent in the practice of yoga both on and off the mat, Alison began searching for a style of yoga that addressed the mind-body-spirit connection in a more direct way. This search led her to Phoenix Rising Yoga. She is now a certified Yoga Therapy Practitioner and Phoenix Rising Yoga Teacher. Alison has more recently continued her yoga training in Kripalu Yoga, soon to complete the 500 hour certification.
