Charlie Bradt created the Yoga Loft in the summer of 2000 in the loft of a barn on a property he owned. For over 20 years he has been a teacher of Kripalu Yoga and currently also teaches Mindful Meditation. He now teaches mostly in Sarasota, Florida.
His teaching has evolved into The Yoga of Letting Go or the yoga of the exhaled breath.The Yoga of Letting Go was born of the understanding that our path to peace is very elusive when we continue to strive to “get better” in the ways we were all trained to do. When we learn to LET GO of the many self-limiting beliefs that were taught throughout life (and continue to be taught today) we drop naturally into the peace that we seek. On the yoga mat, Charlie encourages students to “let go” of tight muscles in each posture with long soft breaths and a smile on the face, releasing muscles and negative thoughts together.
