Focus on strengthening the core by combining traditional yoga postures. Come and break a sweat in this core strengthening class. We will build up to the core through our legs and hips. We’ll start with energetic vinyasa to prepare our bodies for core work. We will breathe and focus, stretch and balance. A strong core enhances your yoga practice immeasurably and promotes healthy posture off the mat as well! Appropriate for all levels of practitioners.

Sunrise Yoga (Erica)

Sunrise Yoga is a moderately paced Hatha Yoga class. Class will begin with a few minutes of centering, breathing exercises, and gentle movements to wake up your body and mind, and ease into the new day. This will be followed by a sequence of yoga poses which will stretch and strengthen the body. Standing and seated poses will be included, and the use of props or modifications will be demonstrated as needed. Class will end with a deep rest in savasana.

Sunrise Yoga is appropriate for all levels of practice, and beginners are welcome. Come join us, and leave class feeling energized for the rest of your day.

Ashtanga Yoga (Erica)

Ashtanga Primary Series consists of a sequence of predetermined poses synchronized with the breath.  This is an athletic practice which builds strength, flexibility, and stamina.  Class begins with sun salutations, followed by a standing sequence, then moves to seated poses, backbends, and inversions.  We incorporate ujjayi pranayama (breathing) and drishti (focused gaze) to enhance the meditative aspects of the practice.  Practice always ends with savasana. All levels of yoga experience are welcome. Appropriate for people in good physical health.

Postpartum Mama & Baby Yoga (Sarah O)

Begin to consciously restore your postpartum body, mind and spirit while bonding with baby in a playful, healing and strengthening class.  Just as pregnancy is a time of deep transformation, so is the postnatal period. Yoga is a gentle way to help your body recover from childbirth, have fun with baby and connect with other mamas while sharing the challenges, joys and insights of being a mother.  Come remember or learn yogic tools for motherhood.

This is a judgement free space to share the challenges, joys and insights of being a mother.  Gather to grow in motherhood, ask questions or to simply be in community with other mothers.  ALL are welcome in this space as an alternative to or in addition to postnatal yoga. Bring anything you need to keep yourself and baby comfortable. Light snacks and tea provided.

A class designed to reduce common discomforts of pregnancy while gently strengthening your body and opening your heart in preparation for crossing the threshold of birth. For kids walking to age 5, with a caregiver. A mix of movement, music, and stories based in yoga.  Class starts with an "om" and ends with a craft. Fun for both kids and adults.

Hatha Yoga Morning Workout (Sarah SM)

Centering, warm-ups, preparatory poses, classic yoga postures and resting poses are described and demonstrated in detail. Students will be guided and assisted in postures leading to greater awareness, stability, strength and flexibility. This class is appropriate for both beginning and experienced students desiring to focus on a personal yoga practice. The exploration of pre-asana and yoga poses continues with the addition of some intermediate asana, refinement of alignment, and introduction to simple vinyasa, flow between poses with the breath. Continued development of the balance between strength and flexibility, muscular engagement and relaxation is emphasized.

Yoga for Every Body (Cintia)

This class offers alternative and modified poses that every body can do while benefiting from body alignment, building on strength and balance.  Flexibility is not required. Tending to the body’s current range of motion, those recovering from injuries or with other physical limitations are encouraged to attend after consulting with their physician.

Yoga for Weight Loss (Cintia)

What does yoga have to do with overeating?  Experts suspect that yoga may help diminish binge eating by increasing body awareness, so you're more sensitive to feeling full and less likely to mindlessly stuff yourself. Join Cintia for this express yoga class at lunchtime and you’ll feel the positive effects of establishing a healthy mind-body connection through specific asana and prana flows that are designed to help with your weight loss goals. NOTE: Please grab only a light snack (if needed) before coming to yoga.

Every Friday at noon, a 45 minute yoga practice to help you digest the workweek and welcome the weekend. Open to all levels, bodies, ages, and abilities. Wear comfortable clothing and enjoy a light snack before class (heavy lunch not recommended), replace your regular lunch hour with forty five minutes of bliss for your body and mind. Leave restored and refreshed. Great for weight management!

This class is for absolute beginners. In the first half of the class we will explore basic yoga poses and breathing exercises. In the second half of the class participants will lie on their mats and be guided by a meditation that will relax and relieve stress. The practice will be easy and delightful; the meditation will be blissful.

Evidence-Based Qigong

The gentle practice of Qigong nurtures your internal energy, bringing beauty, grace, and power into your movement and tranquility and happiness to your mind.  In this class we will learn the secret to stillness without rigidity and relaxation without collapsing, through gentle opening of the joints and easy-to-learn dynamic movement exercises, interspersed with sitting, standing, and lying down meditations and energizing agility training. This class lays the foundation for a daily at-home Qigong practice for improved sleep, balance, posture, coordination, flexibility, agility, muscle tone, grip and core strength as well as reduction in pain, tension, and physical and mental stress.
