Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an effective, scientifically researched method for reducing physical and psychological suffering while building resilience, balance and peace of mind. In this workshop, Johanna will introduce participants to MBSR through specific practices involving breathing, meditation, gentle body movements, and other tools to incorporate Mindfulness into daily life.
Johanna Lee, M.Ed., RMT is a Reiki Master and Teacher at Grasse River Wellness in Canton and is currently completing her MBSR certification at Brown University. She is also Executive Director of the Learning Commons at SUNY Canton. Johanna lives with her family in a beautiful off-grid home not far from the village of Canton.
