Becky has been practicing Pilates for over ten years. She got her start as a student of Sue Willson when Sue taught at the Yoga Loft. In fact, Becky often subbed for Sue's classes when Sue was not available to teach. Becky still practices the moves regularly on her own and has read much on the subject. Becky remembers fondly that Sue advised the class that Pilates should not be the only thing we do during the week to keep fit. Becky took that advice and began incorporating all sorts of activities into her life including running and other group fitness classes. She thinks of Pilates as the place where she got her start to being more fit individual.
Becky lives in Canton with her husband Joel, who is a real estate appraiser by day and the owner of Canton Apples on evenings and weekends. They have one son, Lucas who is in middle school at Canton Central. Becky is entering her twentieth year teaching English at Colton-Pierrepont Central School. She has a special interest in Holocaust Studies and is a Museum Teacher Fellow with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
