315-854-8050, [email protected] Certified Personal Trainer, Youth Fitness Trainer, Fitness Class Instructor. Taught fitness classes for 4 years and was a personal trainer in the Stafford Fitness Center at St. Lawrence until March 2020 when the pandemic shut things down. Wanting to keep active and with a loyal group of dedicated fitness class students, I began teaching my fitness classes via zoom and continue to do so. Always active, I hit a roadblock when I suffered a back injury while pregnant with my youngest daughter. I had back surgery in 2005, and then again in 2011. While recovering I turned to more consistent strength training to alleviate back issues and so that I could improve my overall functionality. I also began training for a half marathon which I ran the following year without any issue to my back. I still love to run and am training to run another half marathon, hopefully in the spring of 2023. My emphasis is on functional fitness so that aging is more comfortable and mobility, strength, and flexibility are enjoyed every day. By strength training and incorporating cardiovascular exercises into a daily routine, you’ll feel better, look better and age well. I am excited to teach others how to manage their weight, increase their endurance and strengthen their bodies so they can live their best lives. I have four children, Chase, Bailey, Riley & Peyton who are the light of my life and staying healthy is the best gift I can give them. |
