Ellie Beeler
[email protected] (680)888-5219
Ellie began practicing yoga in 1999 (on the advice of her doctor) to address joint problems and pain associated with aging and arthritis. And yes, she does feel MUCH more agile now that she has been practicing regularly! In addition, she has learned that yoga can enhance every facet of life, not just the physical. "Yoga has helped me become a happier, healthier and more balanced person in every respect."
Ellie began teaching at the Yoga Loft in 2007 after completing her Hatha Yoga teacher certification at Shoshoni Shambhava Ashram in Rollinsville, Colorado in 2007. Since then she has completed many additional short yoga training courses including Baxter Bell's "Yoga for Healthy Aging", Liz Franklin's "Yoga in Chairs®", and "Integrated Yoga for Seniors" with Carol Krucoff of Duke University Center for Integrated Medicine.
At the Canton Yoga Loft, Ellie teaches "50+ Yoga", a practice for seniors who are in reasonably good health, and "Chair Yoga" which enables people to enjoy the benefits of yoga without getting down and up from the floor.
